IEEE nomination honour for CSIT Head of School

Professor Athman Bouguettaya, Head of RMIT’s School of Computer Science and IT, has been nominated to serve on the prestigious IEEE Fellows Evaluation Committee for 2014 (Computer Science stream). This committee evaluates nominations for IEEE Fellows, globally considered a top honour in the field of computing and electronics.The IEEE Grade of Fellow is conferred by the Board of Directors upon a person with an extraordinary record of accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest. The total number selected in any one year does not exceed one-tenth of one percent of the total voting Institute membership.More information about the IEEE Fellow Program can be found on the IEEE website.
