Newly appointed RMIT VC’s Research Fellow, Dr Hai Dong, has joined the School of Computer Sciences and Information Technology (CSIT), and the Head of School, Professor Athman Bouguettaya, is delighted with the new arrival.
“We were successful in attracting one new RMIT Fellow this year and I’m sure I speak for everyone at the School in welcoming Dr, Hai Dong to CSIT,” he said.
“I would like to thank both Mark Sanderson and Timos Sellis for helping secure this position and candidate, as Hai seems a perfect fit for our School.”
Dr Dong has been working as a Research Fellow at Curtin University of Technology, undertaking research on the “Service discovery and composition for SMEs to gain business intelligence in digital business ecosystems”. Hai has been awarded two research grants and has published many refereed journal articles and conference proceedings and also supervised PhD candidates. He is a member of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society and has worked on editorial boards. His research interests include; service oriented computing, semantic search and digital ecosystems.
