Biography

Devansh Agrawal is an intern under the supervision of Professor Athman Bouguettaya at the University of Sydney. He is currently in his second year at IIT Delhi. He is pursuing his undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Computing. His research interested in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. His other interest includes football and music.

Machine Learning Approach to Estimate Occupancy in Outdoor Using Thermal Images

Project Description:

Occupancy estimation is important for detcting humans and determining occupants’ behaviors. This project aims to detect and estimate (i.e., count) occupancy in outdoor envinroment from thermal imaging data using state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms.
