Indoor positioning data analysis
Indoor positioning refers to the process of finding out the location of people/objects indoors, e.g., inside malls or offices. One way to determine the position of an object is to leverage WiFi access points. Specifically, the strength of the received signal can reveal information about how far the access point is. This project aims to use the signals from multiple access points to determine the position of objects. The project involves collecting indoor position data using an existing app. The data will then be used to model and estimate the actual position.
