Designing Incentive model for crowdsourcing IoT services
The concept of Internet of Things (IoT) has emerged as a result of the advancement in multiple technologies, including wireless communication, sensors, and embedded systems. Crowdsourcing IoT services provides opportunities to build novel applications such as smart cities and smart campuses. For example, a set of co-located smartphones may provide computing or storage to a nearby resource-constrained smartwatch to render a map journey. The success of the crowdsourced IoT service framework depends on the willingness of the crowd to participate and offer services. The incentive models are key mechanisms to increase the participation of multiple IoT users. The goal of this project is to design and develop a novel incentive model for crowdsourced IoT providers.
