Amani Abusafia

Biography
Amani Abu Safia is a Ph.D. candidate under the supervision of Professor Athman Bouguettaya at the University of Sydney. She received her B.Sc degree in 2009, and an M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, in 2013 from the University of Sharjah, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. She is currently a recipient of the Postgraduate Research Scholarship in Internet of Things (IoT) Service Management. She worked as a lecturer at the Department of Computer Science, University of Sharjah, UAE for 6 years. She also worked as a Research Assistant in the Data Mining and Multimedia Research Group at the University of Sharjah. Her research interests include wireless sensor networks, data mining, and distributed systems.
